Vegan Eats is a vegan food ordering app that provides an enticing and energetic user experience for vegans and others who enjoy plant-based options. The primary goal of the app is to provide an enjoyable and energetic user experience, making it easy and enjoyable for users to order vegan food.
The app is likely to have a wide variety of plant-based options available, from main dishes to desserts, to catering to a range of tastes and preferences. Additionally, the app is designed to be user-friendly, with an intuitive interface that allows for easy navigation and ordering.
I used ChatGPT to narrow down three personas as potential users for this app. I began conceptualizing the wireframing and style guide that would fit their needs and desires for an app such as this one. Overall, the Vegan Eats app seeks to provide a comprehensive and user-friendly platform that caters to the needs and preferences of vegans and others who enjoy plant-based options. By providing an enticing and energetic user experience, the app aims to make it easy and enjoyable for users to order delicious vegan food with just a few taps on their smartphones.
The Process
I began conceptualizing the wireframing and style guide that would fit the needs and desires of the personas for an app such as this one. I created wireframes for the app's key screens, including the home screen, categories, restaurant options, menu browsing, item modification, checkout, and order confirmation. The wireframes use light shades of green and other bright, colorful elements to create a fresh and vibrant feel.
The final mobile app design incorporates the wireframes and style guide that were tailored to the needs and preferences of the three user personas we identified. The app features a clean and intuitive interface, with a focus on ease of use and personalization. It includes a wide range of plant-based food options, restaurant and shop recommendations, and user reviews.
I created high-fidelity mock-ups for the app's key screens, incorporating detailed design elements such as typography, icons, images, and vector art. The mock-ups maintain the app's fresh and vibrant feel while providing a more realistic representation of the app's design and functionality.
Another important aspect of the app's user experience would be the ordering and delivery / pick-up process. To ensure a smooth and convenient experience, the app allows users to easily navigate to the cravings they desire, customize their orders, and track their deliveries in real-time. To further streamline the ordering process, the app also offers users the option to save their favorite orders and delivery addresses for quick and easy reordering in the future.
The Outcome
Overall, the app seeks to provide a seamless and enjoyable experience for users who are looking for vegan food options. Whether someone is a strict vegan or just enjoys incorporating plant-based meals into their diet, this app aims to provide a platform where users can find and order delicious vegan food with ease. The mobile app design successfully addresses the client's challenge of creating an app that appeals to a range of users with different needs and preferences. By prioritizing the needs of the user personas we identified, we were able to create a design that is both functional and visually appealing, and that provides an excellent user experience
